Life Decisions (The Hard Stuff)

  • by

So, we launched the site. Mass Effect Legendary Edition Released, got everything set up and then life reared its ugly face, spewing unfortunate events everywhere. Over the next couple of months I will be moving, so content updates will probably not happen a whole lot.

That aside, content was going to slow down anyway. The past 10 years have been incredible, amazing, eye-opening, and wisdom granting. However, truthfully I’ve just been fucking around. I have “hobby” skills that I can translate into job skills and I’ve been doing that, not giving any thought to the future or anything I might need to take care of. So, it’s time to change that.

Over the next 5 weeks I’ll be burying my head in some training materials to try and get some certifications to make myself more marketable for a job while I start working towards what I want to do for the rest of my life. Part of me wants to become a mechanical engineer, and go to school for a while to get that done. I enjoy working with my hands more than anything else in the world. To create something from nothing, or create a solution when no other can be found have to be the most exhilarating things that I’ve ever done. An alternate plan is to become a machine mechanic.

I’m still trying to pin down what exactly I want to write and share here. Though a more important problem to solve is interactivity. Currently we have no open forum for folks to give us feedback or notes on our content. More on that soon I hope.

Regardless, thanks for visiting the site. Once I figure out how to do this blog thing again more content will come. Until next time 🙂
